David I think I may know what your talking about. Try this, in this forum when it shows all the different conversations scroll down til you see the forum discussion titled “section 3 part 2 module 3” read all the post in there and it will guide you to what your looking for.
Well at least I hope anyway. -

Hello Chris, I’ll answer your question but please remember I am a beginner and this answer is only MY perspective I would urge you to wait for sifu wards answer just so it is correct.
My perspective is that the “knowing when to stop” is that dan chi sau is a “game” that’s why it’s called playing dan Chi Sau, it is meant for training with a partner aka a friend or a classmate, it is not meant to hurt each other, and knowing when to stop will keep you from injuring your friend. Also in dan chi sau everything from my understanding is action reaction so if you do one thing and it is countered then you would stop and continue playing and trying other techniques.
Again only my thoughts, sifu is very engaged on this forum and I’m sure he will answer soon.
Hope this helps. -

Ok I finally saw what they are talking about, no bggie just go back to the overview video and start and pause and rewind until you get that section, not sure what it’s called but it’s the half moon looking block, anyway I got this. And I’m sure it will pass again through the modules. Everyone keep on training and enjoying this awesome gift.

Just wanted throw out a idea, let’s all stop and think how hard it must be to put 30 something years of wing chun knowledge into short snip it’s of videos, my thoughts are if a video is out of place it’s for a reason, regardless of the reason doesn’t matter, think of it this way, imagine being in foshan, and ip man was your sifu, would you actually stop him and say ip sifu, your doing this wrong! Bahahah I don’t think so. My point is this in my opinion is a great course, in itself a difficult task through the internet, keep training, follow the videos open your mind, and like the song goes “ everybody wing chun tonight” -

Brian, I have found this same thing, but I think it is like Sifu said. They repeat the important things which for me is a good thing, if you think about it we through this program are learning things in a higher rate of speed as one would traditionally in a class setting, from my experience in a class you would have to do the same thing over and over and over until you learned that one simple thing. For me I’m glad he repeats things. Not having a class to go to and not having 20 or 30 other people to practice with it helps to repeat some things.
Hope this helps

That’s perfect for now, thanks so much!!!!
And have a super merry Christmas.I must say I really love this program.
It’s probably in the library, but do you have any videos in the library of an actual group class and if so what is the name of the video? Thanks again for always being so helpful.
