Great, just approved it.

I wondered as we’ve 4 with the same name and your image was different to your Facebook image.

Have a look around and we’ll chat again later.

Sifu

Thank you, just seen it.

Did you request a FB join?

Hi George,

I see what you mean!

I thought you were referring to a lesson not a whole block!

We may have to renumber those as I not sure what would have been in, if you find anything else please do let us know?

I’ll go through the videos to see if there is anything missing that SHOULD be there.

Thanks again.

Sifu

Thanks George, I’ll take a look.

Hi Lee,

I will certainly consider this, the only reason I have not done so yet is because of the luxury of ‘live’ training, although it does give everyone a chance to watch again.

Thank you for your suggestion.

Hi Jeff,

Well there’s a mixed bunch! 🙂

Firstly I will say to keep an open mind, we are different but we will be clear and help you every step of the way.

I met Leung Ting several times in Hong Kong in the early nineties and we do not train that way.
We would however be closer to Master Wong, a great man who was always very kind to me when we…[Read more]

Hi again Jeff,

Can you just remind me again, where you’re based?

And you say, three different groups, what were they? It’s just I may be able to help you with any comparisons should I know of them.

Thank you

I’ve just updated the Facebook message too, the one at the top of the page, with the new link and password for the Thursday session at 7.00 – 7.40pm GMT (+1)

Thank you and hope to see you soon,

Sifu

I will post the message I popped on our private Facebook group earlier, as for the Thursday class, I realised that with summer time, time zones are now GMT+1, which is probably why it said:
“waiting for the host to start the session”.

Thank you

Hey Jeff,

I found you earlier and approved you, did you read the new times for live streaming?

Have a look at todays blog.

Sifu

Hi Connor,

I hope you’re keeping safe and well?

Of course there are elements of the assessments that are to be shown solo but as for the partner areas, unfortunately these will still need a partner. 🙁

I do keep announcing the next ‘opportunity’ to grade but in many ways this is wishful thinking on my part that by then things may have…[Read more]

Sifu Ward

That’s great/

In these situations it is still best to try to mimic what is required of the partner, on which ever side you choose to be, Dan Chi Sau and Lap Sau exercise in particular, as in, pretend you are in the roll etc.

In failing that, keep going back over the previous solo elements of your training such as the blocking positions, strikes, combinations…[Read more]

Hi Simon, welcome back!

And that’s great you have a partner.

Of course you are ready, the classes are included so why not see what’s going on, let’s train together and pick up some tips.

You don’t need to offer anything, just join in and try to keep up.

See you tomorrow!

Sifu

Buenos días amigo y bienvenido a nuestra familia.

Hi Shan,

You are completely correct, they are inherently the same stance, only defined by the direction of focus, but there is another reason too, perhaps this old blog will help:

Why Are Some Videos Repeated?

Please take a look at this blog, it will help to explain,
