Hi Sifu Ward

Not sure if you remember but I was a member briefly about 3 years ago before wandering off into the realms of Northern Seven Star Praying Mantis. I’m now back and enjoying it loads. My partner seems to be picking it up better than me though!!!

Toying with the idea of the weekly online class but not sure that my skills are ready for it yet.

Hi Sifu and Stephanie

Sounds good, but family commitments mean that unfortunately I can’t make the 15th July. Is there a calendar or mailing list of these events?

For information, you can find my (rather unused) Facebook details here.

Hi Stephanie

Just wanted to say Hi. I’ve just ‘joined’ Colin’s online school and in emails with him he indicated that there as another student in Sheffield – I’m guessing that’s you from the forum posts. I work in Sheffield but live out towards the South, so the clubs in Rotherham and Huddersfield are just the wrong direction for me at the moment. I do go to a training session once week out in Worksop which is really convenient for me, and at the moment there’s just me and the instructor, so it’s like personal tuition. However, I do like additional sources of material to learn from; this site is great and Shaun Rawcliffe’s book is excellent. I’l let you know if I trip across any other useful resources. If circumstances change I might be able to try out the Rotherham venue so let me know how that is going.
Basically keep in touch!

Simon
