Hello Sifu,
Do you think you would be able to give me feedback on this please? I’m kind of in a hiatus from this as I’d like to be clear on where I stood when I filmed this. Being honest, I’m lacking that sense of progression since this, and I’ve really lost impetus in my training as a result.
I hope you understand?

I have been involved Chinese Qi Gong for just under 30 years now, which incorporates many topics including:
The development/increase in Qi
Acupressure
Bone realignment
Herbal medicine
Strategic studies
Meditation
Feng Shui
Martial forms (animal based)It’s my humble understanding that all are interwoven, and can only help to deepen the experience as a whole.

Thank you Sifu,
This was a key indicator for me to ensure I’m heading in the right general direction. Refinement next.

Hello Sifu,
My turn to quickly check in, mostly because I haven’t tried an online grading before and I’ve no idea how long the process generally takes.

Hello again Sifu,
I wonder if there might have been a glitch at the end of the video (the one I uploaded was approximately 30 minutes 40 seconds long), as I’ve checked your notes against what I’ve included and cross referenced against the grading list. I can definitely see it’s not perfect when comparing against the course materials of course. Also the sections you mention that are missing are all at the end of the video.
Here are where I think the missing parts are in the video I uploaded:
The rest of the SLT – from 12 minutes 6 seconds to 17 minutes 20 seconds
SBM stepping drills – 17 minutes 20 seconds to 20 minutes
and of course any chi sau sets – 20 minutes onwards (also has free flow and 50 chain punches that follow)Incidentally I’m quite happy for the results to be public if it’s easier for you – I have nothing to hide.
Best regards,

Hello Sifu,
Firstly thank you very much for this; it’s an encouragement.
All worked as you described; I had to go for the link to hosted content because of the limit to 1 50MB file – but that’s not an issue.
I would certainly appreciate your insights.
Best regards,

Hello Sifu,
I can definitely confirm that the files were submitted before November (I started this thread on 5th October, after purchasing the assessment on 5th October) so that’s a wholehearted yes; definitely before November.
I’m afraid having checked the upload link is no longer there, and quoting the page itself “Upload area will appear here for 7 days once you have purchased an assessment level from above.” – we’re past 7 days now and I suspect your Tech Guy is aware of this page behaviour and my problem is a headache for him. Is the Tech Guy suggesting I pay again to get the link??? I’ve tried refreshing the assessment page several times and there is still nothing that I can see that would in any way allow me to upload anything further except perhaps pay again, but on principle I don’t think that’s very reasonable.
The usual me would simply decide to take the view that I’ve passed, move on, and try to put this behind me. As it is I’ve hit a low point, so this situation is now adding to it and I’m just at a loss and truthfully at the point where I feel like not bothering any more.
I don’t believe you’re at fault here by the way – I think you’re right in the middle having to relay messages back and forth and I appreciate it’s not easy.

Hello Sifu,
Yes Covid is no joke; it got me, my Wife, my Mum, my daughter, and 2 of my 3 boys. In fact one of the boys got it twice, or got false negatives when we did, but thankfully he’s now clear once more.
I’m glad you’ve recovered as well, and hopefully this reduces the chance of getting it again.
Thank you for asking.
Best regards,

Hello Sifu,
Dare I ask how I did….?
But key of course is ensuring I’m on the right track.

Hi Sifu,
Thank you, done; resent link to @gmail.com. Please do let me know if for some reason this doesn’t get through to you.
More Martian intervention eh? First videos, now links to videos. What next?

Hello Sifu,
Yes, that’s correct; this is my first attempt at studying Wing Chun.
Incidentally I’m working my way through the feedback I have so far, and correcting the points – I’ll upload these corrections and advise.
Best regards,

Hi Sifu,
No problem for me.
I’m based close to Swindon (Wiltshire).
In terms of styles, I’ve practised WTF (now called “world style”) Tae Kwon Do (so South Korean originated), LAMAS Qi Gong (including White Tiger), Goju Ryu Karate and Uechi Ryu Karate. A deliberately mixed selection that has allowed me to meet a very broad selection of people.
Best regards,
Richard
