Maybe if you would all spend a little less time training and a little more time on internetforums I´ll bet you would have known what TTT meant ……HAHA-)

Anyway. I am very much looking forward to the Video.
    Thank you Sifu.

Could be in 2.1 or maybe 4.5 or 4.8? Its almost definately in one of the Paksao sections! I think-)

  • “Perhaps the best thing would be for you to first form a group so that you can all train under the same direction, that way when I offer my personal teaching you will get the most from it.”

That is what I plan to do. At the moment however, I am simply not physically able. I just had surgery and I am stll waiting on the results. So in a bit of a…[Read more]

  • Hi Sifu

    Sorry for the late response.

I am unfortunately not in the UK. I am in Denmark.
I have been looking around FB seaching for the post without any luck, but I will give it another try.

Regarding training partners….. My primary Wing Chun teacher is Stephen Mair. I would suspect you must at least have crossed path with each other in some…[Read more]

  • Thank you.

I am still not sure if i totally get it. -) But I will practice as it is being taught in the videos.
Hopefully we will meet one day and you can show me in person.

Which leads me to a comppletely different question. In a blog from August 2017 you mention personal training, evaluation/seminar type.
I cant seem to find any further info…[Read more]

  • Hi again.

I got it, i particular having the changing “high” as an option, I guess the overcommitment “low” part is true too, allthough skill should minimize that.

I still am not really a 100% comfortable on the Tan- I seem to always end up in a Bongsao regardless of whether I come forward with a Tan or a strike?

    My reasoning being……
    If one…[Read more]

  • Hi Sifu.

    2 questions…..

It is specified that when doing a change, (From outside to inside)you do not want to be thinking forward as a strike, but rather as a forward Tan.

How come? Why not think of it as a strike which is then forced into a bong?

Also- why even do that change instead of forcing “him” to change by pressing the Fooksao down on…[Read more]

Thank you. I kind of had a hunch it would be something like that, but I needed the confirmation-:)
Anyway, I am very happy to be onboard the Purewingchun train.

    Hello

First let me start by saying my praises, this is truly a gem.
I have been into martial arts for a very long time and have done Wing Chun on and off since the early nineties.
I have done most of my training with my good friend Stephen Mair who is also from the UK but living here in Denmark.
I feel that I have a decent grasp of Wing Chun in…[Read more]
