Corey Rat #855Thank you for your insight Sifu, has your new addition to your family arrived as of yet?, also I mentioned I am a practitioner of Chinese Medicine, I am also a practitioner of herbal medicine, I have a recipe for my own Dit Da Jow that I use for my conditioning / Injuries, have you used Jow or have you made you own recipe?, it is an excellent tonic for bruising and sore muscles.

Corey Rat #800Is there a possibility you could do a video on any practice moves involving the 3 gates or is it already there further along?

Corey Rat #798Evening Sifu and classmates, I have a question from Mod 1 lesson 5, Bui Mar Mirror stepping.
At roughly 4:00 you mention the 3 gates and that you have mentioned their use before, I don’t recall this at all, can you please clarify which lesson that is in as it intrigues me greatly and I wish you study this more with myself and training buddy.Respectfully

Corey Rat #794I get the direction your going yes, Thank you, I guess I am used to the the “pattern” or predefined way of martial arts thinking in some areas, not to disrespect them its just they way they teach a certain situation.

Corey Rat #792Evening Sifu and fellow class mates, I have a couple of questions, I understand that we all train at and have different levels of knowledge, I have been practicing my Bong sau and Tan sau on my Mook Jong , from watching the movements are both Bong and Tan interchangeable to deflect the inside and outside of your opponents arms?, and do the upcoming videos, ( I am in Mod 1 lesson 5) go into more depth on these (Blocks)? having done these moves before in my Kung Fu training I was familiar and I know Wing Chun is about flow and not being stuck in the pattern of moving in the same direction as every situation is different. The videos just demonstrate the basic movement, am I to assume as I progress they become more in depth in description and demonstration? Since I am learning strictly from the videos I look for these things.

Corey Rat #783Thankyou for your reply Sifu, yes I do have a training partner, my lovely wife supports me and I have introduced her to Wing Chun, she was intrigued that it was created by a lady. I am sure I can enlist the assistance of my one semi retired Sifu or even my current active one, I am stepping away from my current Dragon Kung Fu training for a few reasons and have decided to peruse Wing Chun which I can practise in my home which seems to fit my situation better , I find your your videos to be very comprehensive and insightful leaving little room for questions as to their direction.
