Hi again,
I know Haji very well and he’s a good guy, he’s visited my school many times.
Glad to know you will join us on Saturday, Canal street is correct although the entrance is around the corner on Pickering street, you’ll see our signs over a silver door, we’re on the 1st floor.
See you in the morning!

Hi Rick,
I chatted with the designer to day and he said that because the video is not going on the site but to a private google account (mine), that there should not be any limit to size, so all good. 🙂
Have you got a training group together yet?

Hi Ricky,
Hope you’re well? Good questions.
In the assessments there will be areas I need to see both with and without a partner, so yes, you would need someone at that time to assist you with attacks.
Ideally this would be someone else who is training (one of your training buddies) as the partner elements will include Chi Sau, Sarm Bok Mar…[Read more] -

Hi Stephanie,
No problem about not seeing you, and this Saturday I’m giving a Chi Sau session from 10.00am – 2.00pm in Leeds if you’d like to join us?
It’s free of charge and online students are welcome. Is the class you found run by Haji?
If so he’s a good guy and will help you along with your partner work.
With the online tutorials you’ll fly…[Read more] -

Hi Stephanie,
I was sorry not to see you last night at the seminar in Huddersfield, it was great and went really well (even if I do say so myself :-)).
Anyway, hope you’re okay and perhaps we’ll meet in the future.
Let me know if you need anything?

Hi Jeremy,
Yes of course, it’s [email protected]
I am still not 100% sure about getting to London but I was thinking, if you are not working on the Wednesday maybe you could visit me?
You could get the train to me, Euston to Northampton for about £38 (off peak fare), I could pick you up at the station and head off to a park for an hour…[Read more]

Jeremy, Congratulations!
What wonderful news of your wife, please accept my best wishes for your future family member. X
As for a meeting, I will still need to confirm but I think it is very possible that I could meet with you for a short visit and at least point you in the right direction, and, if you can encourage some friends to also join (so…[Read more]

Hi Rick and welcome to our little community!
Wow! What a position you are in, having partners lined up already, awesome.
I must admit too, I think it’s great that you are taking a fresh new start and we are here waiting to help you all the way.
As for assessments and uniforms, yes there are official shirts etc. and will be found on the set…[Read more]

Jeremy my friend,
I saw your message early and have been trying all morning to see if I could meet you, although I myself am not based in London but Northamptonshire, which is about an hour on the train. It is my main school which is in Leeds, not me.
I am thinking that perhaps I could come to see you for a short visit on the Wednesday but…[Read more] -

Hi Jeremy,
You’re welcome. When I said of us training together I did not mean you coming to Leeds but my one day going to France.
If you let me know when you are in London perhaps I could meet with you and give you some points?
It would be my pleasure.

Hello again Jeremy,
I was thinking of you this morning and how I mentioned that I would think of you while writing a blog, well I think I already did it.
Please look for ‘LET’S RAISE A GLASS TOGETHER TO WING CHUN’, I think it was dated 24th April, it would suite your possible Paris trip. 🙂
I hope my answers were of help to you.

Hello Jeremy!
How nice to hear from you.
Wow! Lots of questions eh?
Ok, here we go..I think that your routine at the moment is wonderful and is a great base to build on. What I mean by build on is that your Biu Mar can start to add angles into it (90 and 45 degrees) and even punches and kicks, I would also recommend adding to your daily…[Read more]

Hi Jeremy and welcome to our little community!
The Ip Man movies are indeed very entertaining, especially the first one.
One hour training each day is excellent and will definitely see healthy rewards.
Regarding a time for each video, this is a difficult one to answer as they will all need repeating many, many times (we are not robots :-)).…[Read more] -

Ha! Nice one John.
I’m guessing you’ve tried Facebook? And what about work mates or someone from the local pub or social circles? You’d be surprised how many people would actually like to do it but just never had the guts to just do it. 🙂
Stick with it, it’s worth it in the long run. You’ve been with us a while now eh?

Yes that’s fine, perhaps get there a few minutes early so as to find the place.
It’s on the 1st floor and not obvious from the outside (if I remember rightly).
Please feel free to bring others with you should there be anyone you are trying to interest.
Do try to learn as much as possible before then, that way I can check you’re going in the…[Read more]
