Hi David,

I see what you mean now.
In that video I am showing the entire form, the piece at the 3.45 mark is the 2nd section.

To look at that more type
3.1 SIU LIM TAU – SECTION TWO
and
THE SECRET TO CREATING EXPLOSIVE POWER (PART 2) into the search tool

This may help.

Oh and thanks again to my new partner Mathew! 🙂

Good work sir, keep i…[Read more]

Hi Jonathan,

Nice topic, let me redirect you to a blog I wrote in October last year.

Is Wing Chun A Hard Or Soft Style Of Martial Art?

I hope it helps?

Sifu

Approved! 🙂

If it’s the Pak Sau to the shoulder (with fingers pointing up), then back to centre, followed by a straight palm to face height, then this is correct and is performed at ‘normal. pace. By which I mean there’s no benefit to being sped up or slowed down (what you see is what you get).

Is this the sequence you are referring to?

Sifu

Hi David,

let me look

That’s great.

I’m grinning here, glad it wasn’t super easy to find, it means you had to go through other videos to get there, hopefully jogging your memory to other things along the way. 🙂

Good find though Mathew. 🙂

Sifu

Hi Chris,

May I ask??? Did you just jump to the quiz and not watch the videos up to it???
If so, NAUGHTY BOY! 🙂

Oh and thank you Mathew, a good answer throughout, although, Dan Chi is not really about NOT hurting your partner (but it does demonstrate your control, so WEL DONE THERE!) but is more about your second reason, that if you are…[Read more]

Chris you star!

Great to have you onboard and welcome to the extended family.

Let me know if there’s anything you need?

Sifu

Thanks Jacob,

Mathew, do you mean when jamming the Pak?

It’s just that you may well do this using a Biu to block a punch, but not when using a Tan.

Sifu

That’s great news, I’m glad you are ok.

Sifu

Hi again Andreas,

I logged in as you and went through your activity log.

Hi Michael,

I don’t mind really, single bag for punches, but then, if you have a 3 sec mounted higher you can vary your punching height, it’s also interesting to fill them with different densities, such as dried peas, cloth strands, and even sand. Plus I do like the 3 sec bags for kicking.

Maybe if you have a 3sec bag but with 2 sets of…[Read more]

Sorry for the delay but I’d already relied earlier to you.

Basically the problem is going to be with your internet and not our site.
I logged in this morning as you and was able to view videos no problem, going through all of the 6 Modules you have opened.
This is what I meant when I said, I’d already relied earlier to you, problem was I was…[Read more]

Wow.
