Hi Frank,
I’m sure I replied to this last night just before I went to bed?
Of course you are right but I also wondered, isn’t there a video in the library on this topic?

Seems fine to me and I do agree, although, if you have a long guard, preventing someone from getting close, it is highly unlikely that a hook would be thrown in the first place.
Nice guy, nice stuff, no negative comment (and no Tan either).
Oh and also – NO MORE VIDEOS PLEASE! LOL

Oh I see,
You’re probably right about the high use of messenger, but maybe it might be an idea to check in just once each week to see what’s happening, check for updates and see if there’s any announcements etc?
We do try to keep the site interesting. 🙂

Video 2 notes;
This guy is much more believable and the opponent is throwing good punches, however, at the 1.50 mark he’s talking of having a longer bridge making the hook difficult, it’s actually impossible as the attacker is out of reach and WOULD NOT throw that lunch from that range (I’m hoping that’s what he’s getting at).
When he talks of…[Read more]

Just making comments while I watch
Around the 2.30 – 3.00min mark he talks of why Tan would not work
HIS tan would not work because it’s poor
Tan is strong from the front, NOT the side, he needs to turn
Also he talks of not waiting for the punch to get to you but you stepping into the punch?????
Now stepping in is correct but those punches are…[Read more] -

All sounds good to me, good idea.
As for the Biu Mar, I’ll try make a video next week of what is expected.
Would that be ok?

Hi Frank, I’m back!
NY was great thank you, loved meeting our distant family.
We actually did a little hook and upper cut stuff, I wonder if they video it and would be willing to share a little???
Great question for the tight upper cut, simple answer is a passive Jum.
The WANT may be to low Garn but if the strike is coming straight up centre…[Read more]

Hi Chuck!
Great observations! A very nice read and thank you for sharing.
Being in a strong stance is very important, you may have the hardest punch in the world but if it’s not connected to the ground then all power is lost.

Hi Steve,
NYC was great thank you, wonderful to meet our overseas family.
Do feel free to send me the link and I’ll take a look.
Cross training?
If you’re referring to the fact that we should learn to defend attacks that are NOT wing chun? DAMN RIGHT, 100% agree.
This is how WE attack, not defend.
Hope to chat more later.

Hi! I’m so sorry for the delay. Last night I returned home from my 150 mile, 3 hour drive home from teaching and remembered I had to make a video for you, and then, low and behold here you are. Of course I will do that for you but please could you remind me again?
