Regarding time zones, clocks in the UK will change this weekend, meaning that livestream classes will be back to normal from next week until October.

However, this Monday is a bank holiday (National holiday), therefore Monday 1st April (Easter Monday), will be a pre-recorded session.

Thank you

Completely agree with regard the grip, I think you get it. 🙂

Hi Pip,

I started replying to this earlier and then was dragged away. I notice that Lester has commented on this, however, I would like to make a point before looking at was he has added to this thread.

This is a common idea and completely true with any stringed instrument such as strumming a guitar, or in particular when playing the…[Read more]

Hi Kenneth and welcome to our little family.

Hope you’re settling in ok.

The first Ip Man is a great movie, I loved the story, the action, the music and the cinematography was wonderful!

It’a nice for you to think, that the boy on the tricycle is your Si-Gung (teachers teacher).

Looking forward to seeing you in class.

Hello Jake and welcome to the family!

Great to see the forum being used again, I only realised yesterday that the link was down (well, I should say our tech guy discovered the link was down).

I’m from Leeds myself and lived for many years in Myton and Flawith, only a few miles from York, perhaps I’ll get to see you in person one day soon…[Read more]

Nice one! 🙂

Hi Lee, and a very belated Merry Christmas to you too.

I am not sure why it has taken me so long to reply to this, I just always seemed to get distracted at the point of reading it, although to be honest, I have needed to re-read it a few times as I’m not 100% on the question. 🙂

All I can say at this stage is that the hips go to 45, and…[Read more]

My dear Nabarun,

Please accept my apologies for not getting to this sooner but I seem to have been bogged down lately, with moving house being one of the biggest obstacles.

We sold our house but had not yet completed on the one we were buying, therefore everything is in storage and we’ve been living for the last couple of months at my in-laws…[Read more]

Hi Ryan and welcome to the family!

Don’t worry too much about the partner training for now, there is step MUCH to learn solo, plus, we are working on making the site more solo friendly.

As soo as you feel comfortable enough, do join us in the live classes too.

Sifu

Hey Gil,

I did answer you on the G-mail but here is fine too.

Of course if you can use a partner, GREAT but if not, performing them as used, and providing descriptions throughout, this will also work for now.

Thank you

Welcome Pip, and what a wonderful introduction!
