Hi Nick,
Lovely to watch, and very well done, however, as well as I would like to compliment you (as I should because it was great), I am here to try to give you improvement…
The only mistake you made, as I am sure you’re kicking yourself for, was the missing last double lap in sec 8, instead of going to left garn, it should have been a right…[Read more]

We’ve not forgotten about you I promise, I was expecting some answers last night but I do not want to say anything until I am sure what’s going on.
Pesky martians.
Thanks again for holding on,

Hi Richard,
I will have out tech guy look into this conversation, mainly because the last time he and I chatted it was mentioned that I would receive an email when a new video was uploaded, I have not had such an email for these uploads.
Alien joking aside, this does need to be sorted for you, I’ll get on to it asap.
Thank you for your patience,
Sifu

I was thinking that maybe you guys may like to meet somewhere in the middle, sharing some ideas and experiences for an hour os two can be really helpful?
If you do, the best thing to do is to plan ahead what you wish to try and then study it beforehand, for instance if you decide Dan Chi Sau, practice the individual side on your own first, this…[Read more]

Good luck with this one Michael as I’m hoping to meet up with you all at some point.
Our other NY Micael will not be with us this Thursday due to thanks giving, I’m guessing that may go for you too?
Either way I will press him to check out this forum topic.

Obviously this is down to the individual, their choice and what they are actually training…
Personally this is not for me if training Siu Lim Tau, I love classical music but even then I would not want it to distract me from searching for the feeling of energy etc.
Although I did have a student who said listening to Moby was fantastic for…[Read more] -

Great, maybe do not join until 7.04?
That way you know we have started and you’re in the correct room.
It may be that if you start before I do, there is nowhere to go?
See you this week for sure I reckon.

Hi Seth,
I had a message to say you were waiting but when I started the session you were not there?
I waited to see if you would join but it never came through? How odd.
Have you cleared your cache recently?
Perhaps this may be the reason, if a previous redirection is still directing your connection down this same path, just a…[Read more] -

In 1 and 2, Allow your front foot to step in closer so that your calf is pushing against the dummy leg.
Retract the palm before moving to Garn, remembering, ‘Always up on the inside!’
In 3, make it clear that the foot goes down,,,, and then the bong goes down, not together (your right side was better than your left).
In 4 step further round for…[Read more]

Hi Steve,
This is an old post you may find interesting…
Concerns about partner training
In later Modules while still solo?In this situation it is best to try to mimic what is required of the partner, on whichever side you choose to be, Dan Chi Sau and Lap Sau exercise in particular, as in, pretend you are in the roll etc.
In failing that,…[Read more]

In the foot positions, yes, BUT, in 1 and 2 the weight is toward the back leg, in 5 the weight is toward the front leg.

The app was completed months ago but only for android, therefore we were simply going to add it as a part of the site, that way iPhone can also be used, to be honest I have not seen it!
I will look into this today and get it moving.
