To recheck whats being learned, you’ll need a knowledgeable partner. Youre absolutely right in poor habits trained will develop poor responses and reactions. Even so much to create opportunities for getting yourself hurt.

Only dumb question is the one not asked. When new to something, ask as often as possible. You’re building skill from nothing. Ask often, this is one of the primary methods to learn.

Hi all,
I just wanted to put on here what I do to test my understanding of Wing Chun, on a regular basis.
A lot of us may have watched through all of the modules and think we have taken in all the information delivered but have we have missed some vital point?
I re-visit each module and take the quiz; if I have questions that I get wrong, I watch…[Read more] -

Allow me to answer your concerns, as for:
‘The less questions is more so due to the lack of having an opportunity to share’I find it interesting, your wording of wanting to share?
If you wish to ask questions then yes, of course this is welcome, but you are there to learn, not to share.
I have spent 43 years (so far) studying a particular…[Read more]

The less questions is more so due to the lack of having an opportunity to share. The rest is reflective of me keeping to myself as the answer resides in actual physical touch. Much of what I see is confusing. This is due to I’m not presented with a real stimulus. So my mind has to brandis a guess and fill the blanks.

Hi Ben,
Often on a Monday there may only be one person, therefore I allow that individual to have their questions heard, if there’s more than one, we train.
On Thursdays, when I see the chance to run through some moves, I run through moves, it’s as simple as that.
The live sessions are an opportunity for me to focus on precision in forms,…[Read more]

First and foremost, my attendance lately being partial is due to impact with personal employment.
Secondly, I’ve noticed the Monday classes there is a Q/A for input and reflections while the Thursday it’s straight into whatever lesson was planned.
Is there reasoning behind this? Or is this based on the attendance culture? Essentially, this is…[Read more]

Just in case anyone was wondering where this was going and if I had replied, Joshua and I had communicated on this topic separately.
This was purely because of it being of a personal nature.
Glad you’re now on track Joshua!

Hi Joshua and thank you for your question.
I’m currently on holiday in France (and not supposed to be online 🙂 but do like to check in when possible).
The simple answer is, ‘All the way’. depending on your view of what the system offers you.
Please allow me to elaborate on this in a few days.
