Attitude To Training
In wing chun you do not get into a position to do a technique, you do a technique from the position you are in.
You must not assume that you will always have a perfect shape, in reality this would be stupid to do so.
Should you panic and just try to dodge a punch, ending in a poor position, then don’t worry, there is always an ‘out’. This very same idea is being approached and understood when we train section 3 of the dummy form (Mun Sau).
Never jump to mis-conclusions without trying to understand what may be being approached mentality in a technique, that would be like laughing at a boxer for using a skipping rope!
