Attention to detail

Next month will be our daughters 4th birthday, and some time ago my wife and I bought a dolls house, giving us enough time to build the thing and have it ready for the big day.

A much bigger project than we both thought!

Anyway, this afternoon was spent in the shed painting a shiny red front door, white stair banisters and a green window frame, and I found myself in a Siu Lim Tau frame of mind as I used the tiniest of brushes, focussing on each of the small pieces with such attention to detail that could only be found in the 1st form.

I find it wonderful that Wing Chun slips so seamlessly into every aspect of our day to day life, and always seems to make it better for being there.
