Another reason to be open minded in Wing Chun

We must always be open to interpretation and variation in our Wing Chun.

Master Ip Chun once said to me, ‘if you do not allow your Wing Chun to evolve, then it would be like never inventing the wheel’.

Think like this:

Just because the Model T Ford was one of the earliest cars we know of, does not necessarily make it the best.

In a race my money would be on the Ferrari rather than the Ford, but at the same time, understanding what the Ford did, changing transportation forever, and with principles still built upon today, this is still something we should respect and hold on to.
