Siu Lim Tau is a classic example of this, as a teacher, when playing Siu Lim Tau with my students I may see twenty or thirty identical forms but each person will be carrying a different train of thought, whether that be the elbow energy, forward thinking, centerline principles, breathing, and so on…


In this is short clip I am discussing how forms can look the same but be trained in different ways for different outcomes, and in this piece we looked at the second section of Chum Kiu.
