The Contact Point In Palm Strikes And Fak Sau’s

 

A question was put to me in our Forum regarding the correct contact points of the hand when executing the

Jic Jern (Straight palm) and the Fak Sau (Whisking hand).

 

This has surprisingly become a popular concern, hence the reason for this blog.

 

The first video below should help to explain this, with the second video showing how the fingers do not need to be tight together when the strike is made.
