Ranges And Their Dangers

This is a little clip from a private session, just explaining ranges and when we need to wait, walk, defend or attack.

If you sense danger and do not have the confidence, walk away.

If you cannot walk away, try to defuse the situation.

If you cannot get out of it, be prepared to defend.

BUT, if you are in range, attack first.

There is no sense, when knowing there is no escape, in being in range, and waiting to see what may happen, YOU make it happen.

So for training purposes there is no need starting inches away from your partner when throwing the strike (in which you plan to defend) and then start to doubt your training because you are getting hit.

If you’re that close.. HIT THEM FIRST!

Hope you enjoy the clip and that all makes sense to you?

Thank you;
