Ahead of the main celebrations taking place tomorrow, I would like to take the opportunity to wish you all a,
Happy Chinese (Lunar) New Year 2021!
This year is the year of the Ox, and with people born in the year of the Ox commonly being connected with believing strongly in themselves, let’s hope this will a be a time to make positive things happen for all of us.
Goodness knows we need it after 2020!
This month also marks the 30th birthday of my school in Leeds (UK), and home of the:
Northern Wing Chun Kung Fu Association
It was way back in February 1991, Master Ip Chun asked me to open the school as a way of helping to spread his teachings, so as you can imagine, this month marks a very special time for me indeed.
Therefore, with celebrations already in swing tomorrow, what better time to raise a glass to all our wonderful students and all our great successes over these past decades, especially our growing family at
WingChun.Online
I have arranged a short meeting for tomorrow at 6.00pm – 6.15pm (GMT) to take the opportunity to thank all of my students, new and old, for their past, and continued support of this marvellous Association, which has made both myself and my Sifu (Grandmaster Ip Chun), so very proud of each and every one of you.
