Defence Against An Upper-Cut
A question was put to me through our Forum regarding the Low Garn defence against an Upper-Cut.
The person in question was asking if this would work for a tight attacking upper-cut like that of a boxer?
In short, NO.
A Low Garn may be used against a body shot but if the attack is tight then the elbow needs to be pulled in.
I made this video to explain not only how we defend this attack but how to defend most attacks down centre.
