Did Buddha Study Wing Chun?

When playing Chi Sau I would always remind a student to stay in the moment, to not try to set up a move, to not be distracted, and to be ready for anything.

This after all is how the principles of a street fight become trained whilst playing, ‘a game’.

The same would be said for Siu Lim Tau, to not be distracted from your goal, that singular focus of thinking of nothing else but the development of elbow energy.

Keep still.

Keep slow.

Keep relaxed.

And yet the other day, I was looking as some of the teachings of Buddha (btw I am not a Buddhist) I read a very interesting quote:

“Do not dwell in the past, do not dream of the future, concentrate the mind on the present moment”.
